Scrumptious Guilin Delicacies- Guilin, China

Going oversea allows me to try their local delicacies and it never fail to impress me somehow with the way they serve and make one dishes. Recently, I went for a holiday to Guilin with my family and I would say the food there is somehow special. Guilin is located down south from China and it was summer during over trip there. Gosh! Life can be so hard to handle when Mr Sun decide to shine you for ongoing 5 days… I felt I'm slight black black after the trip: P but hey!!! Good thing is I am able to try their local delicacies there. Marvelous!

As we are on tour, we are presented with at least 8 main dishes and fruits on each serving.  8 MAIN DISHES? In 1 SERVING?? Yes!!!!
More or less the environment of each meal..... BLOATED GOLD FISH! BLOATED GOLD FISH!
At the end of each meal, I felt like a bloated gold fish (tanned skin + round tummy + round belly) My o my… but it is indeed a great experience.
Famous beer fish. The taste of beer is mild. Suits all ages but BEWARE... the fish bone  is thin and plenty of it. It's river fish as accordance to them and they only have river fish there :P
Ever tasted a fresh gingko cook with vege. My first trial and i simply enjoy it. Simple dish but tasted fresh.
Fresh soya bean cook with littleeeeeee meat and plenty of sauces.  Nothing to complain about this dish- bean tasted sweet, the sauce are right on taste buttttt can i have more meat please?
Glutinous rice meat ball. Crispy on inside and soft on outside. With the presence of lotus leaf smell its perfect!
Another must try there. The rice noodle. Cooked with either fresh soup or spicy soup. Garnish with  peanuts, roasted pork. YUMMY!

Stewed pumpkin tasted sweet and unique. 1st time trial and no regret.

The crunchy taste of this chicken is unforgettable. Sideback... it's oily !

This trip is indeed an eye opening of China food. My first time test on their food and its certainly at acceptable level. Wonderful!
