Thick and Delicious Noodle: May Keng Cafe.

Worth Going>>>>> Definitely!!!!

Before I move to my current place, I use to visit a restaurant in Seri Kembangan- May Keng Cafe. They served a very luscious Lam Mee and Curry Mee. What makes the restaurant so special besides the tasty noodle is the boss. He’s a fat and bald Caucasian who speaks a fluent mandarin and very friendly. Wow!! He speaks better than me. I am so ashamed!

The front look of May Keng. Simple.
Lam Mee (RM5.50) is yellow noodle mixes with starchy brown gravy. The key to this food is the brown thick gravy- must not be too watery and too starchy. They got it just right here. The soup was thick and rich in taste. It gives a perfect combination to this food. Satisfaction guaranteed in this case.

The curry noodle (RM5.50) is another must try when you are there. The thick gravy of the curry is marvelous. The smells of the coconut milk and generous chicken slice makes this a noodle a remarkable one.

A note to you if you are heading there, goes on weekdays and escape Monday. Weekend is pretty pack and you might need to share table with some strangers.

The journey to meet Ms Rainbow.

I was doing some spring cleaning on my PC and stumped upon some interesting get together images of my siblings. We went back to Kuantan (our hometown) mid of last year and decide to meet ms rainbow at the waterfall in Sg Lembing. Sg lembing is my mum’s hometown and pretty near to Kuantan. Impress that big bro and mum agree to the idea. Lovely!!!

Next morning, as early as 4AM we need to wake up and bro drove us up to Sg Lembing. Reaching there about 530AM. With big bro 4 wheel car, we went into the jungle. Its not us alone but we got in with some tourist and some local. lucky we have our big bro to drove us in. The road into the jungle is no joke….. Bumpy and bumpy and bumpy!! A real knock off for such excitement to meet the rainbow. Reach the beginning of the trail into the jungle and so the journey of 1 hour walking in to the waterfall begins. No kidding!!!! It’s miraculous that we manage to get to the waterfall….. with some help from our uncle and cousin. BTW, bro did not join us because he knows how tiring the crossing will be. He waited us in the car. Smart ass! Back to my uncle and cousin - they are great in this. Walking in to the waterfall seems like a simple task for them! Damn! When we got it, Ms rainbow decide to hide because of the bad weather. Too much fog on that day... so we end up swimming and cracking some jokes with people from the town deep inside the jungle. Took some amazing photos during this journey and love every piece of it!

We are disturbing baby Tulip sleep.
Ready to move!!! Yipee!!!
Crazy ladies poses before the journey
The not so nice trail to the jungle but FUN!!
And the walking in to the waterfall begins.
OMG!! my 2 lil sister still got chance to pose during the tiring walk. Salute...
Swimming to the opposite rock of the waterfall. Mummy become the photographer.
After the tiring and unsuccessful journey to meet Ms Rainbow, we are back to uncle's coffee shop for food.

XOXO,
suz

Lala Lala: Lala Chong Seafood Restaurant

Worth going>>>>> Definately!!!

I have been fan of this restaurant, Lala Chong since many years back. It started off when i was still a uni student and having meal in such restaurant at that time is something very fancy already. Well, it was not love at first sight because it is not strategically located and the restaurant is no where lavishly decorated. The food capture my attention. They used to operate their business opposite Subang Airport Terminal 3 but since beginning of last year, they have moved to Ara Damansara. It's a bit hidden at the back of the housing area so i would recon GPS to direct you there. Since then, Lala Chong is the happy place for me and my beloved baby sisters to meet up and more to gossip about our past days.
Not some fancy restaurant but many avid fans are there daily
Must try dish- lala soup with thinly slice ginger and bird eyes chillies, siong tong lala (RM25 for big portion). Good to start your meal with warm belly courtesy from the ginger soup.
Baby sister favorite vege there. Tuna stir fry fern leaves (RM10 small portion). Taste odd at first because never tasted a chillies tuna with such vege but its something new for me. Give it a try, you will love it too.
3 cups chicken, San Pei Chi (RM10 small portion) Its very favorable and the soya sauce did not cover the sweetness of the chicken meat.
Salty egg crab (RM30/kg for the crab). It's a bit dry as all the egg yolk stick to the crabby cover. I am just hoping that there are some sauces for me to mix with the rice.
Steamed kampung chicken (RM45). Tasted like normal cicken but with sharper bone. Ouch! But the sauce which comes separately for the chicken is great. Love the taste of the fried ginger with onion and spring onion. It brings the flavor of the chicken to another level

Good food, great company.... What can i ask more? :)

Look! Rubbish Bin!

ARGH!!!! Some people just don’t know how to keep their surrounding clean. I am not having this OCD but please manage your own stuff leh.... Simple task like throwing the damn paper wrap of your candy away and airtight the unfinished food can be so hard izzit?

Well, my anger on such person starts this morning when i step into my usual seating place and realize some idiot let the sweet caramel nuts wrapper unclosed and some chocs wrapper part of chocs on their table. Worse, it’s just opposite my usual spot. Ahem!!! FYI table in the office are meant to be shared. We do not have dedicated place. i guess you like the space so much and you won't want any other person to sit on it. Goodness sake! this is not the way you keep your seat!!!! Easy way- put your stuff on the table and i am sure no one will take your spot but pleaseeeee not in such way of letting those tiny ants to linger around the table. In case you do not know on the general behavioral of the ants, they bags the food home and keep it there. They don't stay for few days on your table, well unless you have sufficient food to keep them there for few days. They marched through my table to your food!! Argh!!!! I do not wish to kill the tiny little ant because of your good will of letting the food there.  Clean after you eat!!! It’s a simple task.

Feel like i nagged enough on this. Life moves on!!!

Table if for work. Wrapper & unfinished food to the Bin please~

The MIA Angel~

What does that actually means? Men in India? (No offence) My Incredible Action? Missing In Action? Yes, that's the one. I've been missing in action for quite some time. Guess why? Its all because I care about what people say. Particularly my sister. My little sis, Jolene said my blog entries are boring.

I was so hurt. But Mr Fiancee pointed something out. Its those short pic entries I upload. The ones I took pictures impromptu and uploaded. My dear sis, whether or not its true, shaddap and nod. I have a personal blog and I seriously neglected it. No, I will not share the link with anyone. Have fun googling it. You will fail.

I just watched "Something Borrowed" in GSC, Mid Valley. Chick flick I would say. I went shopping in The Curve yesterday. Guess which shop. A shop names 9months. If you are guessing the name sounds pregnant, BullsEye! That's exactly what it is. And another clarification, I am not pregnant!

I won first prize for a contest from The Star and received RM500 shopping voucher from 9Months. The voucher however will expire by 1st June. So, I had to use it before my Taiwan trip.

Next post, I'll upload the pics of my choice and price. Love the clothings but its super pricey. Imagine a legging is selling for RM59 onwards.

Love,
Angel

Go Kart for Date.

It sounds so lame for a date at my ages but YES!!! I received a call from Cleo Malaysia last Friday informing me that I won a date with one of their bachelor (sorry girls!!!). Wow! I was laughing in and out when they told me of my winning. Well, I join the contest out for fun and lady luck decide to back me. A date with a bachelor. Sounds interesting!

At that time my mind has these line..... "Gosh!!! A date??? Hmmmmm...." Good thing is I can bring a friend which I decide to ring up my baby sis and asked if she is interested to join me. An arranged date sounds so old school for me. Luckily is not some candle light dinner or dance for the date, if it is I will sure pass…. Oh! This ‘dating’ is at go-kart circuit. Funny enough but since its some game that I never tried before so let’s go and kick some butts!!!
The 2 winners and my baby sis :)
Jol, Lin and me!

Saturday morning arrived and me and Jol went to Sunway Extreme Park separately. Thank you to Cleo staffs namely Eileen, Ayu and a pretty girl which I forgotten her name but I remember her sweet look (I admit…. I am bad at name) for their patience of waiting for me and my sis and giving us the direction to get there. Not forgetting the flowers that they arrange for us. Sweet!
Nice~

It started off with the introduction to my ‘date ‘ CLEO You:nique bachelor- Hi, KW! Nice meeting you. And the rules for game- GO KART!!!!
Picture time.
(L) KW, Me, Jol, Josiah, Lin
The briefing start..... Red means stop!!! he says.... DUH~ :)

The game was indeed a fun and exciting one. Jol had her 1st driving experience with bunch of trial and error with some banging. I love to see her having so much excitement with the game so do I. I love the driving experience on go-kart especially the last part where we are allowed to drive with a more powerful engine.

So much fun for the date. It’s not about how lovey dovey the day caught up but more of together kind of fun. Sincerely thank you Cleo for such an opportunity for me on the game and the ‘date’. The 2 guys are great. Gentleman and chatty.

Photo session before parting.
(L) KW, Lin, Me, Jol, Josiah, Pretty, Eileen, Ayu

Definitely will head there again for another racing game and this time I will do my drifting. Watch out guys.
