The ME Birthday Celebration: Daorae BBQ Restaurant

Worth going>>>>> OK!!!

Woohoo!!!! I am a year older ANDDDDD wiser! No..... I am still young and i love my life. Recently, Angel and the new guest of honor to this blog, Jol celebrated my birthday in a Korean restaurant called Daoroe Korean BBQ Restaurant. It was my choice of food and I hinted to them weeks back that I had that once and I love it. Guess the hint get obvious and they love me so much that they bring me there on my birthday.
The hint that i gave to my sister and holaaaa i am here for my birthday

Korean is famous for their healthy banchan (Korean side dishes) that complement their main meal We are spoilt with 12 choices of banchan and its replenished whenever we finished the dishes one on table. Bad side? We have to remind the poor waiter to restock that for us as there are way too patrons at the time of our stay.
So spoilt by choiche of banchan

For the main meal, the captain reminded that we have to get one entrĂ©e each and we have 7 of us there. 7 main meals?????  We looked at each other and asking our self are we that crazy to have 7 main meals with 12 restock able side dishes????? That is too much!!!! Luckily…. Nice captain advice us to get the Korean rice (RM5.00) as it’s accounted as main meal. Phew!! Relief!!! But… its still expensive considering it’s only a small bowl of rice. Well, they say these grain flew all the way from Korea thus the price.

Daorae table setup allowed a stove to be placed in the middle of the dining table. The use of this stove? BBQ- grilling meats such as beef, pork and chicken!!!! T & C? You have to order at least 2 BBQ main meal to allowed them to cook at the stove. Bad side? The staff cooks for you. Hmmm…. Wondering why they need the staff to cook anddddd cut the meat for the patrons? Since you allowed the open stove concept, the patron should do it themselves but well, I guess its Daorae style of serving their customers.
The 'bling bling' stove

We had Pork Ju-mul-luk (pork slice BBQ) (RM35.00), Dak-gla-bi (chicken BBQ) (RM28.00) and Wang Gal Bi (Thick Beef Slice) (RM55.00) to go on the stove. The meats are grilled perfectly and the juices remain inside the meat. Complete heaven if you wrap it with lettuce (replenish-able) and pop it to your mouth. The combination is superb. Not oily and it feels good!
Look at the thickness of the Wang Gal Bi. If only they can provide more of these at same price
The juicy Pork Ju-mul-luk. So yummy!!!
Dak-gla-bi marinated in soya sauce and the tenderness of the meat is just made in heaven

We ordered the hot pot-haemool-guk-su-jeon-seafood (seafood kimchi soup) (RM50.00) as the other main dishes because too much grilled just too ‘grilled’ for the nightJ. Well, this kimchi soup has lots of seafood variety ranging from crab, prawn, clams and handful of mushroom.
The reddish kimchin soup that looks spicy but a taste will tell you how sweet the soup were.

The bill? You do the maths but considering teh good service and thoughtful staff, it worth every penny THEY spent for me J..... I enjoy the scrumptious food there.

Oh…. How could I forget the birthday cake they got me for my 29th birthday… It’s chocolate mousse cake which is absolutely delicious. Frankly, I am not a big fan of chocolate but this cake is really amazing. All the 7 of us are impressed by the taste of this cake.
Ahhhhh... The simple decorated but really delicious chocolate mousse cake. They got this cake someone nearby this restaurant

Conclusion is I love the luxury Korean dinner that they treat me and the effort for getting me the mouth-watering cake. Thank you sisters and guys.
The beautiful companion for the grande me celebration!!!!
